What is the Roosevelt Institute?
_ The Roosevelt Institute Campus Network a student policy organization that engages new generations in a unique form of progressive activism that empowers young people as leaders and promotes their ideas for change. The campus network consists of over 10,000 members on 85+ campuses. The Roosevelt Institute was founded at the University of Richmond in the fall of 2011 and Documentaries in the Greek is its first major campus event. We have also hosted multiple speakers, film screenings and also fireside chats that consist of professors leading discussions on relevant issues to students who are interested. Our two fireside chats this school year have covered the Occupy Movement with Dr. Williamson of the Jepson School of Leadership Studies and of the Citizens United case with Dr. Simon of the Political Science Department.
